 Corn Tortillas

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 Cups Masa Harina
  • 1 1/8 Cups hot Water
Directions

  1. Mix Masa Harina and hot water in a bowl until thoroughly combined. 
  2. Knead dough on clean board until pliable and smooth
  3. Preheat a comel or a cast iron skillet to medium high
  4. Divide dough into 12 balls.
  5. Press the masa balls in a tortilla press
  6. Grill each tortilla in the pan for 30 seconds or until brown and slightly puffy.
  7. Flip tortilla on other side for 30 seconds
  8. Transfer into a container covered by a towel to stay warm and moist
